Engage in Being

07/02/07 Kent Ridge - another warm, lunch-time walk Engaging in Being

Watching the world unfold before us as we move through our daily machinations can have a binding and confining effect on us if we are not alert and fully aware in each moment. The physical world – the world of form – and the personalities and egos that we encounter in our daily lives, if not put into perspective – the quantum and holistic perspective – will sweep us away in the momentum of their delusional pull. We are in this world and we are of this world, but we are also part of everything everywhere, and nowhere, and, therefore, in and of all things and non-things.

All things and non-things, in the quantum context, are fields of energy in a vast field of energy and are therefore connected and have influence and bearing on each other and the whole. So, as we maneuver through our daily lives, impacted and influenced by things, people and places, we cannot allow ourselves to be impacted negatively or, should I say, let their impact be perceived and experienced negatively. Life, the universe, things, reality, non-things, parallel universes and realities (if they do in fact exist) merely ARE. It is truly a matter of the is-ness of being, just being, just letting the world/universe/reality(whatever) flow, doing what we can to positively contribute to that flow and the evolution of being, but, ultimately, flow and let flow as we engage in being.
